Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF)
A therapeutic approach defined as promoting the response of the nerve impulses to recruit muscles through stimulation of the proprioceptors, in addition to other sensory stimuli (tactile, visual, or verbal) in the beginning that decrease overtime as learning progresses.
Chiropractic Adjustment
Use of hands to apply a controlled, sudden force to a joint. The goal of this procedure is to improve motion and your body's physical function.
Our services
Functional Rehabilitation Exercise Therapy
using exercises designed to imitate the movement patterns that you use in your day-to-day life, functional rehab restores proper movement patterns decreasing the likelihood of future injury.
Ultrasound Therapy
A noninvasive treatment in which sound waves are used to penetrate soft tissues, increasing blood flow. This can help relieve pain, improve circulation, and promote tissue healing.
Electric Muscle Stimulation
Involves sending electrical currents through the skin and into muscles. This can help to reduce pain, stimulate tissue healing, and strengthen muscles.
Myofascial Release
Application of light pressure by hand to find myofascial areas that feel stiff instead of elastic and movable. These stiff areas, or trigger points, limit muscle and joint movements, which can play a part in widespread muscle pain.
Spinal Decompression Therapy
type of motorized traction that may help relieve back pain. Spinal decompression works by gently stretching the spine to change the force and position of the spine. This change takes pressure off the spinal disks, which are gel-like cushions between the bones in your spine, by creating negative pressure in the disc. As a result, bulging or herniated disks may retract, taking pressure off nerves and other structures in your spine. This in turn helps to promote movement of water, oxygen, and nutrient-rich fluids into the disks so they can heal.
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)
uses a curved or flat surfaced instrument to apply pressure to tight muscles and tendons. This therapy stimulates healing by increasing blood flow and breaking up scar tissue.
Shockwave Therapy
A non-invasive treatment that stimulates the body's natural healing
process. It can relieve pain and promote healing of injured tendons,
ligaments, and other soft tissues. It accomplishes this by releasing
growth factors in the injured tissue, increasing circulation to
tissues, and increases oxygen at a cellular level.
